Latency diagnostics
Proxy vs. OriginMeasures the same site twice: through the proxy (WGP, Cloudflare, CDN, reverse proxy – the way visitors see it)
and directly from the origin server . The comparison shows whether the proxy or the origin is slowing it down.
How it works
The WEDOS agent in Hluboká nad Vltavou loads the site normally via DNS – that is, through the proxy.
Then it loads it again with the domain pointed straight at the origin IP (setDns). SNI, Host and the certificate stay correct.
TTFB, LCP and Speed Index of the median runs are compared. A difference counts from 15% and at least 50 ms.
Third-party domains (CDN, analytics) load the same way in both tests – only the given domain is pointed at the origin.
